Our Mission

The Village Free School is a private, independent, non-profit school in Portland, Oregon. We operate democratically and provide traditional academics alongside holistic, informal character building for children ages 5 to 18.

Free School 101

VFS is hosting a Free School 101, on October 6th, from 6-7pm. Attending a Free School 101 is a great way to view our space, meet directors and advisors, and learn more about our philosophy, program, and daily life. If you plan to join us, please RSVP to jessicag@villagefreeschool.org.

Enrollment

We have very limited space available for the 2016-17 school year. If you're interested in enrolling, please fill out the online admissions application or email info@villagefreeschool.org for more information.
